For as long as I can remember (minus a brief period in elementary school when I dreamed of becoming an actress), I’ve wanted to be a writer. You can count Anne Shirley, Mia Thermopolis, Rory Gilmore (seasons 1-3), as some of the many fictional inspirations for this career path. After studying journalism in college, I pursued work in event marketing for media companies. In my spare time, I dabble in writing screenplays and a newsletter filled with movie/TV recommendations and pop culture news.
A native of the Chicago suburbs and a current Chicago resident, I love walking along Lake Michigan, watching romantic comedies, testing out new recipes and hunting down the city’s best ice cream.
